Another weekend already?! We’re not complaining. This weekend brings something fun for everyone! From family-friendly winter carnivals to an over night Rick and Morty themed laser tag event to a Sunday brunch cocktail party. We at UpFront Ottawa would like to present your Weekend Preview:

Winter Carnivals
Looking to get out and enjoy the winter season with your friends and family this weekend? What better way to do that than taking part in some old fashioned tobogganing, skating, building snow forts, snowshoeing, eating taffy on a stick, or drinking hot cocoa?! For a very minimal cost (or donation) you can take part in all the winter fun happening this Saturday around the city.
- Winter Celebration at Rideau Hall on Saturday from 12pm-4pm. Featuring indoor tours of the State rooms, skating on site, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. More details here.
- Winter Carnival by Action Sandy Hill at the Sandy Hill Community Centre from 2pm-5pm featuring horse-led wagon rides, skating, snow art, games and indoor crafts. More details here.
- Winter Carnival at Westboro Beach from 1:30pm-4pm. Build a snow fort, bring your toboggans and a mug for hot chocolate! More details here.
Morty vs. The Galactic Federation: An Overnight Laser Quest

Who does the better Mr. Meeseeks impression, you or your friend? Fan of Rick and Morty? Enjoy a good game of laser tag? Don’t miss your chance to take part in an all night Rick and Morty themed event at Laser Quest! Snacks, laser tag, prizes, you as Morty fighting the Galactic Federation…We can’t think of anything that would be more of a blast. Happening on Saturday night from 11pm until 6am.
